LOVE LIST// AUGUST

One of my favorite moments of the day is just after I put Tai to bed. I curl up (as best as I can in my office chair...) with a cup of tea and catch up on my favorite blogs. It's a time I treasure-- one of connecting with women from different places and paths- sharing their stories and letting their wisdom and experiences inspire and ignite me.

When I started a blog for our Etsy shop, I never expected to tune into such a vibrant community of creative, wise, powerful women out in the cybersphere. It's so inspiring to follow these ladies on their journeys.

Marissa Moondaughter
This is a wonderful blog, packed soulful musings on the mama moon. I especially love the section on crystal healing-- so interesting!

GypsieSister
I always head over to this gorgeous blog when I need a hit of inspiration. I love Zoe's style and she always has the very best pictures-- she's like super-curator of all things awesome and boho.

I stumbled upon FaeSoul's blog a few weeks ago and it immediately sucked me in. I spent the better part of the morning reading through the archives of this beautiful soul journey.

I've been following The Organic Sister on Twitter for awhile now-- her unconventional life is so inspiring to me and her tidbits of soul wisdom keep me grounded and tuned in. Her post on the twelve reasons every woman needs a tribe is one that every woman should read-- so true and beautiful!!

What are your favorite *soulful* blogs?

Banana Trees and Monster Vines

We spent last weekend up at my best friend's house in Taos-- catching up, cooling off, and enjoying some much needed soul sister time.  Rosie's house is so inviting and bright-- it feels like a burst of fresh air when you walk in the door.

I love how many plants there are, all over the house- a banana plant in the corner and huge, gorgeous vines wrapping their way around the room. We've tried to nurture a few hanging  plants in our home, but after three years, they still look scraggly and out of place.

I left feeling very motivated to do some redecorating in our home. I've never put much time or money into decorating but I'm beginning to realize what a huge difference it makes to have a space that you enjoy living in.

The hubby and I have a date to hit the thrift store this weekend-- hopefully we can find some cheerful pieces to breathe new life into our tiny house

Don't you love this little corner table!?

I'm loving...

A few of my favorite finds from this week.....

The incredible Alana at Run With The Tribe makes such gorgeous, soulful clothing. I fall in love with each new creation.

And I just discovered the fabulous Etsy shop The Forgiving Tree. I have a mighty long list of clothes I want to buy from this shop-- including the awesome skirt above!

Born to Be Wild is a blog I found while on a recent Pinterest binge. The images are so captivating and raw-- I felt instantly inspired and totally charged to create wild and beautiful things.

And Prism Of Thread has so much funky, retro awesomeness-- I love it!

Horizon

I find myself in a time of transition-- lots of loose ends, lots up in the air, uncertain of what lays ahead on the horizon. But instead of tying myself in mental knots, which is my usual reaction to transition, I'm opening my arms to potential change and the adventures that lay ahead. Look out horizon, this time, I'm ready for you!

Links I Love

A few blogs, sites, and stores I'm loving lately:

Bekah at My Little Loves is such a kick-ass young mama and a constant source of inspiration. Her posts are always real, raw, and down to earth.

Spilled Milk- a collaborative photography blog by 18 mamas around the world. Beautiful and inspiring.

Daughter of the Sun- I fell madly in love with this blog when I discovered it. This mama is so earthy and awesome, and the travel pictures she takes make me swoon.

I'm lusting after so many of the treasures at New Tribe Textiles. Best thing about this Etsy shop-- they live in New Mexico too!
