As I mentioned in my last post, I've been consumed by pregnancy and birth art lately. It seems to be my way of processing this experience-- of connecting with the changes that are taking place in my body and spirit. I've always been captivated by the pregnant female form, but now more than ever, I feel drawn to this symbol of fertility, femininity, and power.
